Results:
Bendabout and Skeeterville were
tied 11-11 at the end of 6 chukkers. Bendabout won 12-11
on handicap.
Archie MacCarty at one time was the manager of the
Flying H Ranch. This event honoring him came form an
idea Skee Johnston had last summer. Skee suggested the
Flying H Polo Club invite the young players from the
neighboring Big Horn Polo Club to play a game with the
best pros available - incidentally three of these youths,
the MacCarty boys, are Archie's grandsons.
This concept goes hand in hand with the North
American Polo League's commitment to further develop
young American players. It was a wonderful opportunity
for the six teenagers to play in a high-goal situation.
